These schools meet the greatest need in most countries – the training, equipping, and raising up of national leaders. This includes training in understanding the Bible, in ministry, and in leadership.

The schools can be used by national leaders to train up local pastors AND by local pastors to train and raise up evangelists and church workers in their own churches.

Video schools can reach difficult areas:

• Countries with underground churches because of persecution.
• Countries in civil war and turmoil where it is impossible to run a regular Bible school or travel around doing seminars.
• Countries with poor road systems.
• Remote areas which are too numerous too travel to often can each have their own school.

Even young pastors and leaders can lead a school. This is because the quality of teaching does not depend on them but on the teachers on the DVD’s. A young and inexperienced leader using the school has his youth balanced by ministering together with “heroes of the faith” – i.e. T.L. Osborne, Reinhard Bonnke, etc.

You can greatly multiply your ministry in terms of numbers of schools and locations. It in not uncommon for one person to start 20 or 30 schools.

1. The school is brought to the church. Pastors don’t have to leave their church, ministry, family etc. to attend the school.
2. The ISOM schools are much less expensive than traveling somewhere to attend a residential Bible school.
3. Potential church workers are raised up IN the church where they automatically can combine learning with doing and therefore help the growth of the church.
4. ISOM schools in a church raise up a whole new group of trained church workers and evangelists. This leads to church growth and new churches being planted.
5. Pastor’s and church workers grow in Christian character and maturity as they learn God’s word.
6. The teaching and anointing on the school lead to people being baptized in the Holy Spirit, and to miracles and healings, which lead to church growth.
7. Members don’t leave to attend a school somewhere else and then never return. And they don’t attend a school and then return to the church full of pride and wanting to run the church according to a different vision.
8. Schools reach pastors and church workers who for various reasons would never be able to attend a Bible school otherwise.
9. Students are trained in their own culture and economic class. They don’t leave the village to study in a big city, and at the end never want to return.
10. Many Bible schools produce teachers rather than evangelists. This school produces a higher percentage of church planters and evangelists.
11. The ISOM School trains up laborers in the villages and mountains who will continue to meet the needs in those places.
